With over 30 years of experience, I am an enthusiastic and patient teacher holding a Bachelor of Music degree in violin performance from the Manhattan School of Music and a Master of Music degree in improvisation from the University of Michigan. Building a caring and trusting relationship with my students and their families is at the core of my teaching philosophy. I have a unique approach to learning that helps each student discover and explore their own musical path. My eclectic knowledge comes from a career as a multi-instrumentalist and composer, having performed throughout the US, Europe, and Asia in all genres of music. I offer a well-rounded atmosphere for all ages, styles, and abilities in my NW Portland studio, which is safe and creative for learning and gender-inclusive. Currently, I am providing in-person and zoom lessons in violin, composition, and improvisation. Check out reginasadowski.com for more details.
