About
With over 30 years of experience, I am an enthusiastic and patient teacher holding a Bachelor of Music degree in violin performance from the Manhattan School of Music and a Master of Music degree in improvisation from the University of Michigan. Building a caring and trusting relationship with my students and their families is at the core of my teaching philosophy. I have a unique approach to learning that helps each student discover and explore their own musical path. My eclectic knowledge comes from a career as a multi-instrumentalist and composer, having performed throughout the US, Europe, and Asia in all genres of music. I offer a well-rounded atmosphere for all ages, styles, and abilities in my NW Portland studio, which is safe and creative for learning and gender-inclusive. Currently, I am providing in-person and zoom lessons in violin, composition, and improvisation. Check out reginasadowski.com for more details.Profile isn't claimed yet

In search of a violin teacher who possessed ample patience and a good sense of humor, I, a thirty-year-old beginner, was thrilled to find Regina. Her encouragement is unparalleled, and she expresses genuine delight at even the smallest progression. Regina's fervor is a great inspiration, and she adeptly fields my many inquiries during each session. She is effervescently joyful and exhibits an evident fondness for both instructing and music, freely sharing her expertise.
Though Zoom lessons have provided unique challenges, Regina has a talent for descriptive explanations, rendering the lessons equally comprehensive. I would wholeheartedly recommend Regina to anyone in search of an accomplished, insightful, and cooperative instructor.

Regina is a highly recommended teacher who exudes warmth, kindness, and experience. Her approach to teaching the violin is both helpful and encouraging, making the challenging task of learning the instrument more approachable. She meets her students at their level and hones in on problem areas to make them more manageable. I am fortunate to have had her as a teacher and would recommend her to anyone looking to learn the violin.
