Music for Young Children

I have had the pleasure of encountering Renee, who stands out among the most gifted and compassionate music instructors I have ever known. Her music theory courses are both entertaining and educational. My child has developed a strong affection for "Miss Renee". We attended her lessons and had a wonderful time experiencing the diverse selection of instruments she incorporated into her teachings. This continued for an entire year and left a lasting impression on us both.

Ms. Renee is an exceptional music instructor who not only has a passion for music, but also a deep concern for her students, which is evident in her teaching. What distinguishes Renee is her remarkable ability to tailor her teaching methods to meet the individual requirements of each student.

For the past four years, Renee Yerger has been my outstanding piano instructor. My husband gifted me piano lessons for Mother's Day after I retired from teaching, and it has been a treasured gift ever since. Playing the piano and reading music was always a lifelong dream of mine, and Renee has made that dream come true. As a skilled and passionate teacher, Renee's dedication to her craft is evident in her work. Her students are motivated to perform well, not only for themselves but also to please Renee. Learning music with Renee has been a joyous experience.

Ms Rene is an exceptionally knowledgeable music educator who takes great care in explaining concepts to her students. She employs a unique approach to teaching through hands-on homework assignments, which is ideal for those who thrive on structure and organization in their learning process. With her instruction, not only will you gain an understanding of music theory and vocal technique, but you will also learn how to connect physically and emotionally to deliver a captivating performance. Ms Rene is well-versed in the latest and most effective techniques taught at leading music performance schools. Without a doubt, she is one of the most exceptional coaches I have had the privilege of working with and I always enjoy our sessions together.

We were fortunate to discover Ms. Renee's MYC program through pure chance. After trying out various teachers for our older children, we found that most music lessons were dull, repetitive, discouraging, and lacked entertainment value. Consequently, our older kids did not pursue piano lessons further. Last fall, we began searching for a music program that would suit our six and eight-year-old daughters. We were drawn to the MYC program, which offered a unique approach to piano lessons. MYC expertly integrates various concepts such as ear training, sight-reading, creative movement, music theory, music composition that make the learning process comprehensive. The curriculum is designed to inspire children and foster their growth while making musical concepts deeply ingrained in their minds. MYC offers solid music education in a family-friendly group-based environment that encourages parent and child involvement. The program is enriched by Ms. Renee's love for teaching and music. Her kind demeanor and talent have fostered our children's love of music. They leave each lesson feeling satisfied and comment on how much they enjoyed their classes. In addition, they sing along to the songs, connect different musical aspects, and gravitate toward the piano with ease. Recently we performed some recital pieces at a nearby nursing home, and the experience has encouraged us to view music as a gift that should be shared.
