For over 10 years, I have been teaching fitness in New York City, primarily in Upper Manhattan (Washington Heights/Inwood); however, I am also willing to travel throughout Manhattan. I specialize in PILATES MAT exercises that strengthen the body, increase mobility, realign the hips, lengthen the spine, chisel the powerhouse/core, enhance flexibility, and fortify proprioception/balance. As a Certified PERSONAL TRAINER (NASM-CPT), I have experience working with clients who are recovering from spinal injuries, new to physical training, trying to boost power and agility, living with Parkinson's, in need of balance training, managing autoimmune disorders, neurodiverse, or recuperating from a brain injury.

Both IN-PERSON & VIRTUAL sessions, or a combination of the two, are available, and while my rates differ depending on the location (if in-person), they are uniform for virtual meetings. The first 45-minute session is always discounted to see if we can work together. I am constantly impressed by my clients and enjoy accompanying them on their fitness journey as they gain strength, stamina, and self-assurance. For more than 2.5 years, I have collaborated with Emily. I usually dislike exercising, but due to my back problems, I understood I had to take action. Emily has been instrumental in enhancing my entire body strength, particularly my core. Despite appearing small, the floor pilates positions can be quite daunting. Emily motivates you to become more potent at each training session, using the right level of gradual complexity.

If you're seeking a cool-down session after a workout that is still demanding, Emily's class is the perfect fit. Her approach is both meticulous and gentle, and her concentration and composure are admirable. Additionally, I woke up the following day with noticeably slimmer abs.
