My qualifications include a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Dietetics and Nutrition Science, as well as pursuing a Master of Science in Nutritional Science as an IPND student with the goal of becoming a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. Additionally, I hold a NASM CPT and CES certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist.

Sydney Luong is not only an exceptional personal trainer, but also a remarkable individual for countless reasons. After a year of training with her, I cannot express enough the gratitude I have for the impact her sessions have had on both my personal and professional life. My journey started in October of 2021, where I sought to learn how to prevent back injuries at work, rehabilitate my right shoulder with limited mobility due to an old injury, and overall strengthen my body for stability. Within three sessions, I noticed a significant improvement in my shoulder mobility, which had been limited for over a decade. With this came the added benefit of better posture and functional effectiveness in carrying heavy work-related objects. Sydney's training sessions are thoughtfully planned with a focus on specific areas of mobility and strength. She is sensitive to her clients' limits and abilities, but also encourages clients to push themselves when necessary. If I arrive at a session feeling fatigued or strained from work, Sydney takes the time to address the issue and adapt our workout accordingly. Until training with Sydney, I had never considered weight lifting as an option, but with her safe and welcoming environment, as well as her excellent cues and coaching skills, I fell in love with it. Sydney's knowledge and positive personality make her a joy to work with. Her professionalism and flexibility make it easy to schedule sessions, including virtual appointments. Working with her has been one of the best investments I have made for my body. She has taught me how to use my body correctly, which has kept me safe at work and has the potential to ensure a successful career without long-term damage. All of these benefits come with the added bonus of actually feeling healthier and stronger. I only wish I had more time to train with her more frequently.
