A little bit about me:
Growing up in Jamaica and Florida, food and hospitality have always been a significant part of my life. I pursued this passion by attending culinary school, then landing my first job as a line cook in Miami Beach. Over the years, I've worked as a Chef de Partie at Four Seasons Hotel & Resorts in both Miami and St. Louis, and as a Restaurant Chef at The Ritz-Carlton Clayton, MO. Most recently, I had the privilege of serving as Executive Sous Chef for The Breslin Bar and Dining Room and Quality Italian in New York, under the guidance of 3 Michelin starred chefs.

After 14 years in the industry, I decided to launch my own venture, "Chef Mala Celebrations," in March 2022. This allowed me to pursue my true passion for working with individuals and creating meaningful moments through food. By utilizing high-quality, purposeful ingredients and adapting to dietary restrictions or preferences, I can help bring your event to life. Whether it's through Event Catering, Group Cooking Lessons, or Dietary Accommodations, my objective is to make your experience both delicious and unforgettable.
