My life was transformed by yoga. Physical fitness has always been a top priority for me, but not always for the right reasons. Since incorporating yoga into my routine, I've realized the mental and emotional benefits of the practice. I now feel strong and healthy in every aspect of my life.
For most of my adult years, I chased a life that I thought was expected of me, filled with self-limiting beliefs and insecurities about body image and self-worth. Yoga provides a safe space for me to face my fears and let go of attachment to any outcome. As I release these layers of judgment, doubt, and fog, I can love myself and share that love with others more deeply.
This profound change inspired me to share my practice with others. I left my corporate job, lived in a van for a month, and moved to Colorado to devote myself to teaching yoga full-time. As an RYT 200, it is my highest honor and privilege to share my experience with others who can also relate.
