I am a French-Canadian girl originally from Montreal, Quebec with a passion for the arts, yoga, coffee, and adventure. I pursued Theatre at Russell Sage College in Troy, NY, but my theatre mentor encouraged me to pursue film and TV in Los Angeles. While acting in independent films, I found myself missing my love for theatre, and so I founded Athena Theatre, a non-profit theatre company producing published TONY and Pulitzer Award Winning revival plays. Over the course of seventeen years, I produced published and new plays in both LA and NYC, which was incredibly stressful given the heightened emotions of the industry. As a result, I turned to yoga to help calm my mind and connect with my body. From there, I discovered a love for storytelling through creative movement.
Currently, I am a 500-hour RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance) and yoga instructor based in Vero Beach, FL. I strive to provide unique and creative yoga teachings to each class, tailored to the setting, students, and an inspirational theme. My goal is to empower and inspire my students to shine their light. I offer precise alignment cues and modifications to meet each student's individual needs, whether journeying through class while mending an injury or expressing a more advanced practice. I am known for my smile and love to laugh. I am passionate, empathetic, and adventurous, with a love for arm balances, getting upside down, and exploring creative movement.
My certifications and qualifications include yoga teacher training at Blue Spirit in Nosara, Costa Rica with Amazing Yoga (100 hours), Flor Yoga in Jersey City, NJ (200 hours), and Authentic Movements (500 hours in Hatha, Vinyasa, and Restorative). I am also a Yoga Alliance YACEP (Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider) with additional training in A Journey into Yin with Travis Eliot and 40+ hours in techniques, trainings and practice, teaching methodology, anatomy & physiology, yoga philosophy, lifestyle and ethics through Yoga Alliance, Pure Yoga in NYC, Kat Fowler, and Ann Richardson, as well as countless podcasts and webinars.
My main goal is to unlock physical and emotional blockages through my yoga teachings and create a space where each person can express themselves and radiate their light to the world. I believe in the balance between effort and ease, where each student can embrace challenges while still feeling supported, ever-evolving and growing. I am most passionate about wellness, mindfulness, traveling, teaching, family, friends, and being the change I wish to see in the world. In my personal life, I practice self-study, read and gain new knowledge, recycle, limit single-use containers/bottles, avoid using straws and take care of the environment. When I am not teaching, I enjoy practicing yoga with my dog, Bowery, or reading.
