As a multi-disciplinary artist, I have a diverse skill set that ranges from drawing and painting to 3D metals art and jewelry design, as demonstrated by my BFA degree from Cal State Long Beach. Additionally, I possess experience in large-scale mural painting, woodworking (including furniture building and surface refinishing), as well as proficiency in software such as Illustrator/Photoshop and Procreate.
With over a decade of experience teaching drawing and painting both in private settings and public education, I am well-versed in creating an environment that is tailored to the student's unique learning style. Additionally, I have three years of experience teaching jewelry making techniques such as enameling, etching, soldering, and stone setting.
As a creator, I work closely with clients to create a brief that takes into consideration their specific needs, aesthetic preferences, and timeline. From there, I create multiple designs for my clients to choose from and allow up to three revisions to make sure they are fully satisfied with the project. I maintain open communication throughout the entire process to ensure that the client is involved as much or as little as they would like to be, and I pay close attention to every detail to ensure the highest level of quality.
My student-centered approach to teaching allows each student to have input on what they would like to learn in order to reach their specific goals. Whether they have a predetermined project in mind or need assistance brainstorming ideas, I provide the necessary support and guidance to help them achieve success.
As an artist and teacher, I take great pride in my work and am dedicated to ensuring that my clients and students are happy with their experience. If you have any questions or would like to schedule a free consultation, please do not hesitate to reach out. I am excited about the opportunity to work with you!
