My aim is to assist you in optimizing your academic experience. With over a decade of experience in college counseling, I have aided more than 100 students in achieving admission to their top-choice colleges. My coaching approach centers on empowering students to reach their maximum potential while also prioritizing their mental health and overall wellness.

As a cum laude graduate of Yale with Distinction in the Major, I am a certified Marshall Goldsmith Forefront coach, a member of the esteemed MG100 Coaches network. My college counseling services are provided through my company, Lumis Admissions, which can be found on my official website.

Reduced rates are available for individuals who identify as People of Color, LGBTQ+, and first-generation immigrants. My mission is to assist motivated individuals in attaining admission to exceptional colleges, and I invite you to share this with your acquaintances.

Please note that although this profile is for my personal services, I am also part of the Spike Lab coaching team, which comprises 18 coaches collaborating to provide top-level service to our students. My services encompass four Service Lines:

1. College Coaching 1:1. Achieve success in high school while building a robust university application, including academics, extracurriculars, recommendation letters, and more (ages 13-18)

2. Applications Guidance. Identify an ideal roster of potential colleges, complete the college application with ease, and excel in writing exceptional essays (grades 10-12)

3. Passion Project Coaching. Develop a dazzling passion project that motivates you, hones lifelong professional skills, and elevates your extracurricular achievements (grades 7-12)

4. Mentorship. Enhance your confidence, identify your strengths, and leverage those strengths effectively through stress-management strategies grounded in yoga that promote positive mental health and equip you with greater focus (grades 9-12)

Since 2010, I have supported hundreds of students through the college application process. Graduating cum laude with Distinction in the Major from Yale, I gained significant experience through my tenure on the Yale admissions interview team from 2016-2019. As a result, I have gained expertise in setting ambitious yet achievable objectives, encouraging personal development, nurturing confidence, and motivating students.

[ My Purpose as a College Counselor ]

In high school, I was lucky enough to have had exceptional teachers who provided me with the support I needed to achieve admission to elite universities such as Yale, Princeton, Dartmouth, the University of Chicago, Amherst, Williams, Swarthmore, Pomona, and other top schools. My college counselors helped me select the best university for me, guiding me through the various options and guiding my decision beyond brand names.

I am committed to paying it forward, as evidenced by my founding of a college counseling business in 2010. My primary purpose is to assist others in achieving their academic aspirations. The process can be transformative, but it can also pose challenges. With extensive experience from supporting countless students, I strive to provide a steady hand for those who need guidance through this pivotal phase of life.

I have designed a customized, dedicated online system to support my students, hosted on Google Drive. Among the tools that each student will have access to are:

1. Application Portal. A centralized location to store, organize, and complete all your work.

2. Apps HQ. Collect your application data for quick and easy reference, reducing time and repetitive work.

3. Gantt Chart. Chart your entire application process, set clear goals, view deadlines in a single location, diminish stress, and eliminate confusion.

4. Feedback Tool. Offer feedback at any time to optimize and enhance your experience with me.

[ My Credentials & Track Record ]

I created my college consulting and coaching firm in 2010, and I have personally mentored over 100 students. Graduated from Yale University cum laude with distinction in my major, I have launched three companies, which has helped bring me to the forefront of Entrepreneurship Coaching. Recently, I co-founded Beson Education, a university admissions agency that raised $1 million in first-year funding from private sources.

Also, I helped to create Gakko Education in 2012 which raised $5 million in corporate sponsorship (including Benesse and Hinoki). At The Spike Lab, I am a certified Spike Coach, training young entrepreneurs who wish to catch the eye of top institutions by designing unique projects.

My students have gained admission to a wide spectrum of institutions, including Princeton, Yale, Amherst, Swarthmore, and cosmopolitan and metropolitan universities such as New York University and Boston University. My key goal is to secure admission to schools that provide ideal fit for my clients, promoting student satisfaction during college years and post-collegiate careers.

I provide coaching services to American and international students both locally and over Zoom. Local clients may meet me personally at my office in Brookline, MA.
