Our kitchen renovation, which included the removal of a wall and opening up the space to our living room, was expertly handled by Sergey and his team. After considering multiple contractors, we were drawn to Sergey's modern design sensibility. His team's punctuality, efficiency, and attention to detail were impressive, as evidenced by their proactive painting of our entire living room to ensure color consistency throughout the space. Additionally, they prioritized safety during the COVID era. Sergey also handled all necessary permits and inspections, making the process hassle-free. I enlisted the help of Sergey for a major renovation project, which included a total overhaul of my kitchen and bathroom, an additional bathroom, removal of a structural wall, replacement and addition of skylights, external post replacement due to dry rot, roofing, backyard renovation, electrical rewiring, HVAC system, painting, and many other tasks. From start to finish, I had an incredibly positive experience working with Sergey and his team. Sergey provided a detailed and realistic estimate, taking the time to understand my vision, style, and budget while offering helpful suggestions to make the project a success. I developed a great deal of trust in him and appreciated his expertise when it came to selecting appropriate options and materials. As with any extensive renovation project, there were unavoidable surprises and delays that emerged along the way, but Sergey and his team were communicative and responsive at all times. They kept me informed of their activities and provided clear explanations of any issues or proposed solutions. When mistakes were made, Sergey immediately took action to address them. Another benefit of working with Sergey is his extensive network of professionals. As a general contractor, he was able to bring in teams of roofers, landscapers and more to tackle additional projects I requested. I found the work and services provided by his team to be of excellent quality, and Sergey's brother Dima was a trustworthy and skilled asset to the project. Although the original time estimate for the project was five months, various delays and additional tasks, such as COVID-19 regulations, holidays and health issues, meant that it took eight months to complete and ended up 25% over budget. However, I anticipated this and would advise anyone planning a renovation project to factor in delays and budget increases. Overall, I am thrilled with the end result and have happily recommended Sergey and his team to my friends and family. It was a pleasure working with Sergey, Dima and the rest of the team, and I'd definitely work with them again on future projects.
