At 17 years old, my son has gone through a tremendous journey. He's overcome the challenges of having 5 open heart surgeries, and was left to cope with the loss of his father, who passed away four years ago. Despite my efforts to support him through psychiatrists, medications, wilderness programs, and therapeutic boarding schools, I found myself feeling helpless as he struggled with his self-worth, defiance, and motivation. But a new ray of hope came through when I discovered Cubby, a life coach whose philosophy, education, and commitment caught my attention. He's young and my son was able to connect with him quickly.
