At Walnut Hill Catering and Events, we specialize in crafting personalized menus and designing events to infuse a sense of novelty, charm, and warmth into our clients' events. We take pride in supporting local producers, vendors, and farm-to-table initiatives. Our past clients include Parkview Health System, Ambassador Enterprises, The Summit, Grace College, IPFW, and Ball State University, among others. We cater to a diverse range of events such as team-building culinary exercises, funeral dinners, in-home dinner parties, multi-day reunions, graduations, and wedding rehearsals/receptions. Additionally, we offer culinary facility consultation, ServSafe Food Manager training & examination proctoring, and more.
We have had the honor of working with renowned celebrity chefs, including Stephanie Izard and Marcus Samuelsson, among others, in support of charity events such as Blessings in a Backpack Fundraiser and SCAN's Brown Bag Lunch. All of our personnel follow strict on-site food safety practices while ensuring professional attire. We are ServeSafe Certified and have liability insurance. Clients may offer gratuity as per their discretion.

We made several requests for specific food allergies and preferences, and Jim was exceptionally accommodating! The entire crew demonstrated professionalism by working non-stop throughout the event. The party was a success, thanks to the delicious food that received many compliments for its taste and appearance. As a graduation open house can be unpredictable regarding the number of guests, Jim worked tirelessly to keep up with the demand. Grilling on site added a delightful touch to the occasion!

I cannot express enough how impressed I was with Jim and his crew at Walnut Hill Catering. They provided exemplary service throughout my day-long birthday celebration consisting of various smaller events. From the delicious pulled pork lunch they served to our pilot friends, to their unique ladies tea served on vintage china with amazing finger foods, desserts, and teas, and finishing off with a dinner service that was beyond compare, featuring prime rib and delicious chicken served once again on beautiful china, they truly set the tone for our 40's USO themed evening. Jim and his wife were incredibly helpful from the start, creating a menu specifically tailored to each event occurring at a given time, which helped to bring a sense of cohesion to the entire day.
Despite the high heat and humidity, their team remained pleasant and cheerful, and my guests could not stop raving about the food and service. This was definitely a marathon event, and Walnut Hill Catering was put to the test. But they passed with flying colors! I thank everyone involved in making my celebration so unforgettable. From start to finish, they were top notch! Unfortunately, my photographer did not show up, so I have no photos to share unlike the professional crew at Walnut Hill.
