Hi, my name is Thomas Grady and I am the owner and operator of DOGGO Canine Adventures. With over two decades of experience, I decided to turn my passion and love for dogs into a business. I discovered my love for working with dogs at an early age, around six or seven when my mother would take me to her job at the police station due to a lack of babysitters. There, I spent my days in the K9 unit and gained valuable hands-on experience with the dogs by feeding, walking, playing, and caring for them. This experience was the foundation of my ongoing learning journey, where I continued to study canine behavior, training, leash obedience, pet CPR, and first aid, making me a fully licensed and insured professional.
At DOGGO Canine Adventures, we specialize in dog walking, hiking trips, beach and park trips, grooming, drop-in visits, and stay-cations around Carlsbad, Oceanside, Vista, and the surrounding areas. Our primary goal is to provide both the busy pet owner and their furry companion with high-energy physical activity, mental stimulation, and social interaction. At the Encinitas diner, we stumbled upon Grady while eavesdropping on a woman's passionate anecdote about how he transformed her and her greyhound's lives. From what we gathered, the rescued greyhound used to attempt to attack other dogs on the street. However, when Grady stepped in as a substitute pet sitter without even meeting them, the greyhound no longer exhibited aggressive behavior and now walks peacefully alongside other dogs in the pack. Intrigued, we took Grady's contact information from the woman and included our dog in his two-hour dog park adventure, which he leads three times a week. It's a fantastic substitute for daycare, with pickup and drop-off services provided. Grady's unparalleled understanding of dogs is striking. It's almost as if he can communicate with them effortlessly.
