After detecting a strong burning odor emanating from our vents, we contacted Volta HVAC for the very first time. Promptly, David, a technician from Volta, arrived and thoroughly examined the furnace and vents. He concluded that there were no issues with the furnace and determined that the recurring odor might be due to the recycling of indoor air through the air return system.

Our ten-year-old refrigerator needed repair, but when another company told us we needed to buy a new one due to its expense, we sought a second opinion. What a remarkable experience! Our six-year-old Sears Kenmore Elite fridge suddenly stopped cooling, and when we called Sears for repair, we were informed that the service date would be several weeks away, leaving us without a functioning refrigerator. Thankfully, we had successfully utilized CrackerJack in the past and chose to use their services again. On Sunday night of a three-day weekend, around 10 pm, I reached out to Volta via message. To my amazement, I received a return call from them at 8:30 am the following Monday (the holiday). We confirmed all the appliance details, and I booked an appointment for the very next day! The technician arrived promptly, diagnosed the issue (a compressor problem), and, astonishingly, had the necessary part in his truck and repaired the fridge on the spot! The technician was incredibly professional and well-informed. Even though the compressor was within the Sears warranty limits, they would have only reimbursed us for the component's cost, and we would have been without a fridge for a few weeks. Sears is terrible… please call VOLTA instead. :)
