Victoria's Violin & Cello Lessons

Hi there! I'm Victoria and I specialize in providing private lessons and performance coaching for advanced violinists and cellists of all ages. In addition, I offer set-up and alignment coaching to help alleviate issues such as discomfort or misalignment while playing. My studio also offers a Chamber String Quartet program for those interested in ensemble playing.

If you choose to join my studio for ongoing lessons, you'll have access to regular lessons, alignment coaching, and performance coaching, with the option to participate in Chamber. I am available for both online and in-person lessons, and while scheduling for ongoing lessons is weekly-only, short-term coaching services can be arranged as necessary.

VF Strings is designed for serious musicians who are dedicated to ongoing private lessons, with occasional participation in our quartet program preferred for students aged 10+. Our next quartet program will run in Summer 2023, so please mention your interest when inquiring about our studio.

As a classically trained violinist and cellist, I have extensive experience in technique and pedagogy, which I tailor to each student's individual learning style to keep lessons engaging yet informative. I'm extremely attentive to ergonomics and proper technique to ensure comfort while playing, and my knowledge of solo, chamber, and orchestral repertoire provides valuable context for playing styles and periods.

In addition to teaching, I have performed in orchestras, solo recitals, and weddings, and recorded for film scores. My students have achieved top chairs in school and local orchestras and OMEA events.
