My daughter's wedding in Raleigh, NC was meticulously planned by my wife and I, with a desire for a first-rate ceremony and reception for our beloved son-in-law and daughter. Qi and her partners were exceptional performers who provided an outstanding display at the wedding and reception. Qi was highly professional and easily accessible. We searched for a violin quartet in the area and met with another group for an audition, but Qi's performance with the NC Symphony blew us away. Despite advertising a Trio, Qi was very obliging and put together a quartet with two violins, a viola and a cello for us. She interacted with us and our daughter several times to ensure that the plans were just right. She worked with my daughter in California to put together playlists and set the timing for the ceremony, and the resulting procession was flawless, in no small part because of Qi's careful coordination. The quartet performed for two hours, playing pop music during the cocktail hour, and many guests inquired about their impressive talent. We are genuinely grateful to Qi and her group for their incredible contribution to our daughter's wedding - they were phenomenal!

I had a wonderful experience being taught by Qi who proved to be an exceptional instructor. The fact that Qi came to my residence for lessons added to the convenience and made it a hassle-free experience. Her expertise in violin and music theory lessons is highly recommended.

For our intimate outdoor wedding, we required music. Qi demonstrated excellent communication skills prior to the event, leaving no question unanswered. Qi arrived punctually and delivered a remarkable performance. Sadly, we overlooked the need for sound equipment resulting in difficulty hearing her, but this was in no way her fault.

Despite having no experience in music and being 34 years old, Qi taught me how to play the violin superbly. She displayed a positive and motivating attitude throughout the lessons, as well as being very patient as I tackled the complexities of this difficult instrument. Qi's own exceptional violin-playing skills coupled with her flexibility to work around my schedule and availability made for a great learning experience. Although I regret not being able to continue my violin journey with Qi due to family obligations and physical constraints in my left hand, I highly recommend her to those seeking violin lessons.

Despite the flawless performance, we were disappointed by the rush for payment right after our ceremony. Had we known that it would disrupt the remaining festivities of our wedding, we wouldn't have minded paying beforehand. Perhaps the performer should make payment before the event a requirement for future performances. She barged across the livestream video as soon as we, the bride and groom, began to exit, in a bid to demand payment from the Wedding Planner. This incident can be seen in the video. Rather than waiting for the planner to compensate her, she interrupted our professional photos to demand payment. The payment process was also quite tedious because she only accepted Venmo, check, or cash, rather than the more widely used Apple Pay, CashApp, or PayPal.
