I own a guest suite that is attached to my house and has a separate AC unit. To upgrade the standard Honeywell thermostat, I purchased a Nest smart thermostat, which I attempted to install myself. However, the Nest showed an error message stating a missing C/W1 wire. As a result, I requested the help of a professional from CrackerJack to configure the wiring and correctly install the thermostat. DMP Air was sent to initiate the install, but they could not figure out how to wire the thermostat despite adjusting air handler wires and attempting to install the previously bought Google Nest adapter kit. Moreover, they tripped the air handler every time they turned on the AC breaker. The technicians said they would have another person check the problem, but neither DMP Air nor anyone else contacted me after that. This unprofessional behavior left me hanging with an AC unit that now cannot stay on because of their mistake. I am very annoyed at the situation, and now I have to hire another company to correct this issue.
