I specialize in incorporating competitive swimming expertise into my swim instruction to provide a highly personalized and meticulous experience. Unlike instructors with only a teaching background, I am able to fine-tune specific skills such as endurance tolerance assessment and customized solutions to address the root of any swimming challenges. I also offer specialized expertise in distance control and deeper understanding of the "why" behind corrections. At Progress First Swimming, we prioritize expertly blending competitive swimming and teaching experience to deliver an approachable yet detailed experience that focuses on rapid progress while having fun. We offer a structured system akin to traditional swim schools, with added depth and detail rooted in our competitive swimming DNA.
Our pricing starts at $85 for 30-minute lessons and includes packages of eight lessons. We measure our value in terms of progress made, not cost per lesson. Students can expect to progress from discomfort in the water to proficient laps of freestyle in just eight lessons. Compared to traditional swim schools with inexperienced instructors, we offer a faster path to mastering the four strokes. Inquire about pricing and lesson details on our website. Kevin has come over to teach our kids a few times. The logistics have been smooth, thanks to quick and efficient communication. The kids enjoy their time with him and are making good progress.

My daughter has had 8 swimming sessions with Kevin, and thanks to his excellent instruction, she has learned all the strokes by her 4th session. Kevin is a fantastic instructor who even offered guidance on swim teams. He was also accommodating in scheduling and finding suitable pools for us. I highly recommend him.

Our experience with Kevin while teaching our 9 year old son swimming has been amazing. Despite our son's resistance to this activity, Kevin has shown great adaptability and perseverance in overcoming the initial challenges.
