About
At our "happy hour", I'll use laughter to motivate you while we set baby goals with a plan. You'll only need minimal equipment like a mat, 2 pairs of dumbbells, resistant bands, and a chair. I created my own NASM-approved programs, including my latest program on YouTube, REAL Parkinson's Education and Life Talk, for which I hold 2 Parkinson's fitness certificates. Additionally, I assist others with back pain relief, flexibility, and partner with healthcare professionals to ensure your safety. I'm offering a free session for your friends to try. Thank you for considering me, Lisa!

Due to the pandemic, Lisa, my personal trainer for several years, was unable to continue our sessions. However, during her tenure, she provided me with exercises to alleviate sciatica, a persistent issue that detrimentally affected my quality of life. Despite her efforts, the pain persisted, and I opted for a series of five epidural shots in the spine, concluding on August 7, 2021. Another ailment I faced was a tear in my rotator cuff which caused me substantial pain and hindered my sleep. I sought physical therapy for this as well, and Lisa worked alongside me to address the shoulder problem. With the assistance of a reverse surgery on March 15th this year, I can happily state that the surgery was a success, and I was able to play golf again this summer. Although I miss Lisa, I acknowledge that she relocated closer to her family and admired her work with older adults like myself, as I am now 78. Currently, I do not have a personal trainer, but my insurance will include Silver Sneakers starting in January 2022. As a result, I intend to attend the program at our YMCA and take full advantage of it. Sincerely, Beverly Dinsmore

Lisa is an excellent trainer whom I have been working with for several years. She possesses intelligence and experience and is knowledgeable in all aspects of physical training and wellness. Lisa has an enormous passion for working with individuals and nurturing their health. She cherishes her clients and prioritizes not only their physical but also their emotional well-being. Lisa is a friendly, enthusiastic, and optimistic person with one of the most compassionate hearts I have encountered. I feel privileged to regard Lisa as both my trainer and my friend. Without reservation, I recommend her with the utmost esteem. Respectfully, Laura L.

Lisa is a remarkable personal trainer with a passion for fitness. Two years ago, my husband, who has Parkinson's disease, first met Lisa at our local YMCA where he trained with her twice weekly. Under Lisa's expert guidance, he has significantly improved his endurance and strength, particularly his core, leading to better balance - a critical factor for people with Parkinson's. Importantly, he has also experienced a decrease in the number of falls he used to have prior to working with Lisa. Lisa adroitly modifies exercises to accommodate my husband's changing abilities, keeping his workouts interesting and engaging. Even with the onset of COVID-19, Lisa transitioned seamlessly to using Zoom, which has proven to be a highly effective virtual platform. Despite moving to Arizona recently, Lisa remained fully committed to her clients, not missing a single session with my husband during the move. Lisa also goes above and beyond by sharing tips on moving with Parkinson's, diet, and nutrition. She even arranged online meetings with some of her other Parkinson's clients, further demonstrating her dedication and care. As a result of Lisa's fun and motivating spirit, my husband remains highly motivated to continue his fight against Parkinson's through exercise. After two years of training with Lisa, he continues to eagerly anticipate each session with her.
