Mobile Mic Studios is an independent recording studio located in North Providence, RI. We offer a creative and comfortable atmosphere for artists to realize their sound. Our high-quality recording, mixing, and mastering services are performed using top-of-the-line gear, allowing everyone to experience professional-grade recordings. We take our services a step further by offering mobile recording options. With our acoustically insulated studio that provides up to -40Db of noise reduction, we can bring our expertise to you. Even in the most challenging environments, we can record flawless vocals and produce great-sounding audio.
Our chief engineer and producer, Spike Katz, brings over 35 years of experience in the music industry to the table. Not only is he classically trained in piano, but he's also a graduate of Berklee School of Music with a certificate in music production and technology. Spike's music has been featured in commercials for big-name brands such as Chase Bank, Tropicana, and McDonald's, along with video games from Sega. As co-owner of Mobile Mic Studios, he has the insight and knowledge to help enhance your creative direction.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, nursing homes and similar facilities were shut down, which left us in need of assistance. Our in-person visits were no longer possible, and our equipment was failing to provide adequate audio quality. Thankfully, Mobile Mic came to our rescue. We recorded our content in a safe and distanced environment, and with Mobile Mic's help, our audio quality greatly improved. We were even able to share the content on YouTube, DVDs, and memory sticks, allowing those we can no longer visit to still experience our presence. As the COVID-19 situation improves, we plan to visit Mobile Mic at his studio to explore even better video and audio quality options. We found Mobile Mic to be affordable and within our budget, and we plan to work with him again in the future.
