I own an old home that was built in the 1940s, with additional parts built later. Upon inspection, I discovered that the galvanized steel pipe that connected to the sink in the original bathroom was rusting. I consulted with two plumbers who recommended partial repiping of the oldest part of the house and replacing the galvanized steel piping with copper. After comparing estimates, I realized that Gladiator's estimate was the most appealing for a few reasons. Firstly, it provided a clear price breakdown for different services offered, such as repiping, sheetrock repair, water heater service, code upgrades, and main water line. Secondly, Gladiator had the highest amount of liability insurance in all categories, including workman's comp and general liability. Thirdly, their estimate included inspection permits and the passing of inspections. Fourthly, Gladiator was Diamond Certified, an additional point of reassurance. Lastly, their price was on par with one of the other companies, but the other company had terrible Yelp reviews, while the third company was charging a much higher price for fewer services. On the day of the repipe, James, the owner of Gladiator, showed up with four plumbers and a foreman, as expected. They started work at 9:00 am and finished by 5:00 pm, exactly as planned. They also conducted an air pressure test to verify that there were no leaks. The team was meticulous and cleaned up the house, minimizing damage to the sheetrock and plaster. During the repipe, I requested that Gladiator's plumbers also check the sewer drain lines, as they were located in the crawl space. They discovered that some of the galvanized steel drain pipes were leaking sewage, so James offered me two options: leave them as they were, which would lead to eventual failure, or add the work to the existing repipe permit and get it done in one day. I opted for option two, as it was the better long-term solution and more cost-effective, considering Gladiator was already working on my house. The next day, Gladiator's plumbers showed up again and replaced the old drain lines of the house, as well as sanitized and cleaned the sewage areas. Cynthia, Gladiator's office person, did an excellent job of scheduling the inspector, communicating with me about inspection times, and making sure that one of Gladiator's plumbers was present during the inspection process. Any fixes needed were done by Gladiator's employees on the spot, and both repipe and drain line work passed both inspections. After completion, a hole patching technician meticulously repaired both the sheetrock and plaster, making the patches look seamless in texture and smoothness. Only a bit of touch-up paint was needed to restore the areas to their original condition. Overall, my experience with James and Gladiator was excellent. They met my three main project criteria: quality work, timely completion, and cost-effectiveness. I am satisfied with their services and would gladly recommend them to anyone in need of repiping and drain line replacement for their home.

As an Uponor Certified shop, we engaged the services of Gladiator to install a Phyn Plus water flow meter and relocate an outdoor faucet for inclusion in the Phyn monitoring system. Although the cost was slightly higher, the superior quality of workmanship, including the patching, taping, and finishing of the sheetrock, was well worth the investment. Other options we considered were not even able to patch the sheetrock. Moreover, we were impressed with Gladiator's exceptional customer service.
