The foggy window was fixed in no time and the service was exceptional. The window looks crystal clear now, and the price was reasonable. In contrast, another company quoted $200 more for the same job, which is shocking. This company provided a free estimate quickly and completed the task the very next day. Initially received a quote of nearly $500 to repair a pair of windows. However, a subsequent quote for the same job came in at only $150. If the two quotes truly differed in the suggested work to be done, then more specificity should have been included in the original estimate. Nevertheless, given that the task was merely to replace the window mechanisms, which was priced at $480, it wasn't difficult to find a more favorable rate elsewhere. Perhaps the first quote could have included a more detailed breakdown of labor costs.
