Having a personal chef was new to me, and I have to say, it was an amazing experience. Chef Shelly was exceptional in her communication which made the whole process run seamlessly. Punctual and professional, she got straight to work in the kitchen making hosting my dinner party effortless. It allowed me to spend time with my guests without any stress. And the highlight of the night? The food, it was simply delicious. Even now, I still find myself craving her crab cakes! I'm already planning my next gathering, and there's no doubt that I'll be using Chive again.

We had designed a dinner party for 12 guests in honour of my wife's birthday. Being unfamiliar with local in-house chefs, I turned to CrackerJack for help. Chive (Chef Shelly) was recommended to me, and she worked tirelessly to plan the menu with me, going far above and beyond my expectations. Shelly kept in touch as the dinner date approached. On the day of the event, Shelly and her staff arrived promptly and started working their magic. They were enjoyable, courteous, and had plenty of energy. They even accommodated a few special dietary requests. After our appetizers and drinks, we sat down for dinner, and the salads arrived, which were stunningly brilliant and tasted exceptionally fresh and exquisite. Then came our primary dishes - most guests chose the filet, while others ordered chicken or salmon, and they were all genuinely delighted with their meals. The filet was quite possibly the best I have ever eaten, cooked to perfection and to each guest's preference. We also received great compliments on the mashed potatoes and broccoli. For dessert, we all enjoyed individual warm lava cakes adorned with fresh fruit - a flawless finish to such an unparalleled feast. Chef Shelly surpassed all expectations, and we wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking a gifted chef. Don't hesitate to book her; you won't be disappointed. From beginning to end, the decision to hire Chef Shelly was a fantastic experience. She assisted me in selecting a personalized menu and comprehensively addressed any queries I had throughout the process. The affair itself was flawless and went above and beyond our expectations, with the cuisine receiving praise from all in attendance. We regrettably neglected to capture images of the Wedge salad, appetizers, and beverages, all of which were divine.
