About
Over 50 years ago, I developed a passion for barbeque while watching my grandfather expertly prepare and cook open pit barbecue in large quantities for his loved ones. As I grew older, I realized that his dedication and expertise were what made his barbeque so exceptional, in addition to being a Kansas City Pit Master. His commitment to the process was evident in every flavorful and tender bite.During my high school years, I helped my grandfather with meat preparation, and I continue to apply the same timeless lessons today whenever I use my smoker. For me, preparation is key, as I never forget my grandfather's words of advice: "Son, preparation should never be rushed."
