I need to provide an update to my previous review, but unfortunately, I am unable to delete it from CrackerJack's website. Instead, I hope you will read this updated feedback. Despite my initial concerns, I must give credit where credit is due. Chris Goodrich went above and beyond to rectify the situation. He handled the issue with professionalism and was incredibly responsive to my concerns. Chris takes pride in his work and it shows in the level of diligence he exhibits. Thank you, Chris, for making things right. Warning: Do not use this company. I had an unfortunate experience where the proprietor Chris Goodrich purchased materials that were not suitable for the gates he was designing. One of the gates was too heavy for the materials he used. Additionally, the posts he fabricated did not fit the stone pillars as they should have. Furthermore, Chris was unprofessional and insulting to my contractor and other workers, causing them to refuse to work with him. Due to these circumstances, I informed Chris that I would no longer require his services. However, I expected him to be a responsible businessman and return the majority of my deposit, minus a few incidentals. Unfortunately, Chris has kept most of the deposit and is charging me for services that were never approved, such as travel time to pick up materials that could have been delivered for free, and time spent on a gate design that I never saw. It's disappointing when some businesses fail to do the right thing.

The custom staircase railing that Chris crafted was exceptional. He displayed an excellent level of communication, punctuality, and professionalism throughout the project. His pricing was fair, and he even made repairs to an iron gate that I was having trouble with. Chris comes highly recommended, and I will absolutely seek his services again. Collaborating with him was truly a pleasure.
