My educational background includes a BA in Interior Architecture obtained at UC Davis, as well as two masters from California College of the Arts - one in Industrial Design and the other, an MBA in Design Strategy. My forte lies in high-end work and personalized creations both in-house and on location. I craft bespoke woodwork, cabinetry, furniture, trim, and molding, and also renovate and refinish fine furniture. In addition, I have extensive experience repairing drywall damage and performing interior and exterior painting. For smaller projects, I am adept at installing faucets, plumbing fixtures, and pre-wired lighting fixtures. I thrive on challenging design problems that demand innovative solutions, frequently utilizing material repurposing, upcycling, and restoration techniques. Two tasks were completed by Dave for us. Initially, he fixed two immense desks for our personal workspace and subsequently, we called him again to color our home office. He executed a marvelous performance in both of the tasks. We highly suggest him.

Recently, Dave impressed us by creating custom cabinet doors. We urgently needed to replace the door fronts on a rental property, and initially tried ordering our own, but were dismayed by the lengthy three-month delivery timeframe. Luckily, we discovered Dave on CrackerJack and he was able to visit us the very next day. He discussed multiple options with us, including assisting with door and hardware orders or building the doors from scratch. Ultimately, we chose to have Dave construct the cabinet doors, and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. Dave even painted the interior of all the cabinets to match the new door paint, resulting in doors that exceeded our expectations in appearance and were completed in a third of the time ordering would have taken. We strongly recommend Dave for any woodworking needs due to his professional and responsive work ethic and impressive craftsmanship.
