About
Let's make sure your event is unforgettable by combining well-crafted, sidesplitting stand-up comedy 🤣 with innovative comedic music that'll have you humming along the next day 🎶. It's like receiving two shows in one! In-person and virtual events are both available.
Introduction: With intellectual and ridiculous humor (think Ralphie May, Eddie Izzard, Jackie Kashian, Christopher Titus, Stephen Lynch, etc.), I'm a comedian who can work clean or get a bit risqué if appropriate for your audience. If requested, I can even include customized material for your occasion.
My show does not typically incorporate crowd work, interactive "roasting," or similar elements, though they may spontaneously arise.
Since 2004, I've been touring the country professionally, bringing laughter to audiences everywhere. You can experience my work on Sirius/XM Radio, Spotify, Amazon Prime, Apple Music, and more.
COVID-related Concerns: I provide both in-person and virtual events, am fully immunized, and can perform outdoors or indoors. While performing, I usually do not wear a mask, yet can do so upon request. I'll wear a mask for all offstage aspects of the function.
One other note - my minimum compensation for a performance is $500, so please keep that in mind when requesting a quote.
Helpful Hints for Ensuring a Great Comedy Show at Your Affair:
1. Ensure all attendees are aware that they'll be witnessing a comedy show. People who anticipate a comedy show are more likely to be primed for it and have an enjoyable experience. Individuals who are looking to spend an evening eating and getting together with friends and then have to shift into "let's listen to this comedian crack jokes" mode may have a less enjoyable time. I want everyone to have a fantastic time! 😁 Even if it's a surprise party for a honoree, everyone else should know about the planned comedy event.
2. Kids and stand-up comedy don't mix too well. Even if the material is appropriate for children, it'll still mostly be geared toward "adult stuff" that will more than likely bore them. You might think about moving them to a different area with activities for them to keep them occupied during the show - perhaps under the supervision of an adult who isn't a fan of comedy (nature never intended such a thing to exist!).
Obviously, some youths have a fondness for stand-up, so they're more than welcome to attend.
3. Plan to host the comedy show at a different time than mealtime (dinner, etc.). Why? Laughing + Eating = Choking. An excellent time for the show is between the main course and dessert. It also works after dessert.

We consider ourselves fortunate to have had Phil at my husband's birthday celebration! His humorous performance had everyone laughing and enjoying themselves. Despite receiving short notice, Phil tailored the show to the audience. It was evident that he possesses extensive experience in gauging and adjusting to his crowd. Furthermore, he's an exceptional musician, skillfully showcasing his guitar skills with a rockstar-like performance. I would undoubtedly hire Phil again in a heartbeat.
