I provide a range of relaxing and rehabilitative massage services which includes Swedish, Deep tissue, Triggers point, Sports massage, Shitazu massage, neuromuscular massage, pregnancy massage, and Ortho-Bionomy massage. I am passionate about working with my clients as a team to find the inner knowledge of their body for true healing. My clinical experience and research focuses on mitigating pain, anxiety, and stress holistically. I believe that the body has the ability to heal itself, and not just from a biomedical perspective. Pain is more than just physical damage, it has an emotional and mental component that often goes overlooked.
In terms of my education, I completed a 600-hour program with a focus on therapeutic massage and bodywork, which included hands-on experience at SFSM's student clinic. I have also received regular requests from return clients and have charted their progress using SOAP notes.
I have been working at a Relaxing Spa since 2013 and am skilled and compassionate in my approach to massage therapy.

She has an innate ability to identify the areas requiring attention as soon as she touches me. Her exceptional skills ensure that she provides extra care as necessary. When it comes to massages, I prefer deep tissue work with a lot of pressure. Without hesitation, I can confidently vouch for Sophie as one of the best massage therapists I have ever experienced. I count myself fortunate to have crossed paths with Sufi - at least, that's how I think her name is spelled. I initially knew her as my masseuse, but our acquaintance quickly blossomed into a lifelong friendship. It's quite the delightful package deal.
As for her massage skills, let me tell you - she's a great listener. Sufi possesses the tools to work therapeutic wonders on your body, but there's something else about her. She's spiritually attuned in a way that leaves you feeling healed, even if you're not aware of it.
