Greetings! I am John "JJ" Codella, a private in-home coach catering to individuals or pairs around Westchester, NY and Southern, CT. My foremost objective during each session is to enhance your body's capabilities through quality movement development. After each workout, my priority is to provide necessary assistance to help you prepare for the rest of your day/week with the knowledge that you've gained.

I have been a certified trainer and nutrition coach since 2015, and after conducting numerous sessions with several clients, two things became apparent to me:

1. Being "skinny" or "fit" is not worth sacrificing your health and overall well-being.

2. Restrictive diets and highly intensive workouts prove to do more harm than good.

I aim to guide my clients towards achieving their fitness goals sustainably, without sacrificing their health. The approach I use doesn't involve crash diets or endless hours of cardio. We need to put in the work, but we must invest effort in a manner that generates genuine, long-lasting results.

Due to working with clients of varying ages, ranging from 10 to 70 years old, I possess a wealth of experience in dealing with issues such as back pain, hip injuries, pre/post-natal women, and numerous other exercise-related concerns that may occur over time.

Before commencing any training program, a complimentary 20-minute strategy call is conducted to ensure that we are an ideal match. I offer in-home (travel to you) training, the option of meeting at a local gym, or online coaching - whatever works best for you!

During your time away from our sessions, you will be given homework and habits to incorporate, as well as all the necessary support from a coach.

JJ is truly the best decision you can make for training! Last autumn, my husband and I participated in training sessions with JJ and I highly recommend him as a trainer. JJ is personable, professional, and highly skilled with extensive knowledge. During the hour, he was very patient, motivating, and encouraging, but also ensured that we worked hard during the session. Initially, I had zero knowledge or ability, but JJ never made me feel inadequate and challenged us every week. Regardless of skill level, he easily catered to both my husband and me. JJ is an exceptional trainer for anyone seeking general fitness goals or more specific areas of improvement. Without a doubt, the personal trainer JJ has provided us with the finest customized workout plan we have ever received. Not only is he well-informed, but he also adapts our exercises according to our physical requirements. With him, we don't have to bother about not having a home gym as he brings all the equipment with him. Our living room, which usually comes with laundry and our feline friend, is our workout area. Because of our desk jobs, one of us is regularly injured or has minimal mobility issues; however, JJ has helped us become more robust, flexible, and healthier overall. JJ and us have great conversations that make even a 90-second plank go by in a jiffy. He pays attention to our posture to ensure that we perform the exercises perfectly and safely. We would highly recommend JJ without hesitation - 10/10!
