Based on my own encounters, the quality of work provided by HEP ranges from subpar to outstanding. It appears to be contingent upon the particular technician performing the work. However, their responsiveness could be improved. It's important to note that all of the technicians are exceptionally pleasant.

I am satisfied with the completed job, although I did encounter an issue with the company's system. I mistakenly thought I was dealing with an individual, but instead, the company dispatches workers to each call. I scheduled my appointment for 8am and received a confirmation call at 7:45. Unfortunately, I missed the call as my phone was on silent. When I returned the call 15 minutes later, no one answered. After attempting to call three times, I listened to the technician's voicemail, which instructed me to call the "Home Office." The office informed me that since I had missed the call, I had lost my place in line and they would not come out at the scheduled time. Despite this frustrating experience, the job was eventually completed and I am happy with the work.

The HEP qualities failed to impress me. However, Justin, the worker responsible for digging the trench and replacing the pipe performed exceptionally well. The backhoe was their only reliable equipment. Despite completing day one, they demanded full payment without finishing the job and their clean-up was poor. I had to remove the tractor mud from my driveway. On day two, the landscaping was unsatisfactory. They scattered grass seed and straw on top of mud clumps and large rocks, claiming it would settle. I won't recommend HEP to anyone, nor will I rehire them. The only positive I can say is that they fixed my basement drain at a high cost for the subpar outcome.
