About
After spending years as a stay-at-home, homeschooling mother and writer, I found myself in my late 40s, single and struggling with chronic illness and depression. Although I had to start over, I have learned that getting back up is not always easy. However, this has only fueled my passion for counseling and encouraging others to overcome their own challenges. My counseling approach focuses on research-backed tools paired with spiritual truths to help clients find purpose, improve relationships, manage stress, overcome anxiety, depression, and negative thinking, heal from trauma, deepen their spiritual walk, and discover their identity as a child of God.
With a diverse background in life experience, I bring a unique perspective and a non-judgmental, safe environment to help clients feel empowered and find lasting results. I am especially passionate about working with couples and have completed extensive training at the Gottman Institute in couples therapy, including issues such as addiction, affairs, and trauma.
As someone who has experienced chronic health issues, I believe in the mind-body-spirit connection and work closely with clients and medical professionals to provide well-informed, comprehensive care. As a Christian, I also offer a faith-based, Biblical approach rooted in the power of Christ's transformational love.
No matter your background or beliefs, I am dedicated to walking alongside you on your journey of healing and discovery. Contact me for a free 15-minute consultation to see if we are a good counseling match. Let's start your journey today.
