UPDATE: The business owner, Elad, reached out to me and resolved the issue. It was a misunderstand on my part as the $750 quote was for a new garage door opener installation, not the repair. After speaking with Elad, I am updating my review to 5 stars due to his genuine concern and attentiveness to his customers. Though they did not perform any work for me, I could tell that they prioritize their customer satisfaction. While I cannot attest to their work quality, I look forward to using their services in the future.
I had requested an estimate for a coupler replacement on my garage door opener. The technician arrived on time and inspected the motor, indicating it was outdated and parts were not available, before walking away without providing further information. He had quoted an exorbitant $750 for the job, which I believed was overpriced as other businesses charged significantly less for the same service. Following the assessment, I deduced that a $100 job was feasible and found that another company quoted me $120 plus parts, which I could buy from Amazon for $10.
I concluded that the technician was disinterested in the job. Nevertheless, I appreciated their punctuality and willingness to offer a free estimate.
