I arrived to inspect the job and measured the rooms that required painting. They informed me that they would provide a quote shortly and asked for my email address. I suggested they give me a verbal estimate first, and if it was within my budget, we could proceed to email. However, they insisted on their standard procedure of requesting email prior to quoting a price. Despite my offer to proceed with contracting if the price was reasonable, they refused to disclose the cost after coming to my location for measurements. This was a waste of time on their part, and I would advise against engaging with them if they are unwilling to provide a quote.
