Regrettably, the work completed by Family First Restoration on my house fell short of my expectations. Although Janel and her family were pleasant, their workmanship did not meet high-quality standards. I had engaged their services for tiling my kitchen backsplash that featured floating shelves. Although they removed the shelves and completed the backsplash installation satisfactorily, they left the kitchen in a dusty and untidy state. The worst part arose when they fixed the floating shelves back on without sufficient or appropriately sized nails (nine holes were present, yet they only used two). After three days, when I placed dishes on the shelf, both it and the dishes came crashing down. The other shelves were also highly unstable and could not support weight. They promised to rectify the situation through messages, but the communication seemed dodgy, and there was miscommunication regarding the desired day of return. Eventually, I had to pay $900 to a third party to adequately fix the shelves. He was alarmed at the shoddy workmanship. Unfortunately, I had already paid Janel about $3K before the shelf debacle and requested $300 refund for the broken dishes and rehiring cost, but she did not respond. Thus, I cannot recommend Family First Restoration for major house projects.

Working with Janel and her family was a pleasure, and they left the area impeccably clean.

Family First Restorations LLC did an excellent job on the remodeling of my bathroom. They completed the work within the expected time frame, and were very respectful throughout the entire process. They managed to execute exactly what I had envisioned for my bathroom. I highly recommend this company to my family and friends, and plan on using them for my future projects.
