Simplified Solutions was founded by me, Alycia, and I'm based in Brighton, Michigan where I live with my husband and three children. From my experience as a DIY enthusiast and former homeschooling mom, I understand the struggle of managing all the clutter and chaos that comes with a busy household. It can be emotionally and physically overwhelming, and clients often voice these common concerns before I help them declutter:- Feeling completely overwhelmed
- Difficulty concentrating productively due to too much stuff
- Having no idea where to start
- Wanting to help aging parents downsize
- Struggling with packing to move and deciding what to keep and what to discard
Over time, I've developed a simple and sustainable home and office organization system that is based on research into the psychology of organizing. I collaborate closely with clients throughout the decluttering process and then help create a tailored system that is easy for any family member to maintain. Last week, I invited Alycia over to help me organize my garage and storage room. To say she did an incredible job is an understatement! We sifted through numerous boxes, crates, and bins, and with her help, we were able to sort everything out while also donating or eliminating my unnecessary possessions.
