About
Nathan Jay and his wife Jessica own Jay Home Services. Growing up at his parents' summer camp in Minnesota, Nathan learned all types of home and property maintenance by shadowing the maintenance director during summers. This interest led Nathan to earn a degree in construction management from the University of Denver and work in high-end residential and commercial property management for over a decade. The installation of the new thermostat at our place was excellently done by him. Despite encountering some hurdles caused by the outdated wiring and incorrect thermostat, he swiftly resolved the issues. Overall, he did a remarkable job! I highly recommend him for any electrical home-related tasks!

Nathan displayed exceptional professionalism and courtesy when assisting me with my project. Prior to the day of our meeting, we engaged in thorough communication which was crucial in ensuring that we were fully equipped for the task ahead. I was impressed with his attention to detail when it came to protecting my property, as he took precautionary measures such as removing his shoes (especially since I have a white area rug) and vacuuming the area when he finished. Being that I needed a window AC unit installed in a window that opens horizontally instead of vertically, Nathan was able to expertly fit the unit into the space and even closed the gap using plywood that he skillfully cut onsite (outside). As I live on the second floor of my building, Nathan responsibly brought a ladder to ensure the bracket was securely installed. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Nathan and will certainly rehire him in the future for any additional AC installation needs, such as in my bedroom!

Nathan was employed to carry out installations for our smart home. My initial observation of him was that he possessed a great eye for detail. He requested additional information and photos of the project to ensure his readiness. He subsequently provided itemized pricing for each installation, including timing details and pricing estimates. On the designated date, he arrived on schedule, displaying a courteous and professional demeanor. I was particularly impressed by his productivity; instead of standing around to supervise us as we set up the devices on apps, he immediately initiated the next installation. To our delight, he even took the extra step of cleaning up the working area. Nathan's excellent efficiency enabled him to complete all tasks one hour ahead of schedule. We were extremely pleased with the finished product and give a wholehearted recommendation for Nathan as a dependable expert for any home projects.
