Day&Night harwood floors

My 100-year-old floor was in desperate need of repair, so I enlisted the help of Jose Gil and his crew. We agreed on a start date, but due to some flexibility on my end, it was pushed back by a day. However, this was not an issue. Jose and his assistant arrived on time and we discussed the necessary repairs. The oak floors had black stains caused by old dog urine, which had to be replaced. There were two sections, each roughly the size of a small kitchen table. Surprisingly, the cost was reasonable for the amount of work required, and I was pleased since I expected it to be much more expensive. On the first day of work, the crew arrived with all the necessary tools and wood required for the repair. They replaced the damaged wood and fixed twelve old radiator holes, which took their worker about seven hours to complete. Most of the sanding was finished in one day. The following day, they completed the remaining sanding and applied the first coat of poly. Two days afterwards, they applied the final coat. The team worked tirelessly for many hours, and the results were exceptional. The floor looked much better than it did before, and the areas that were initially replaced blended in nicely with the rest of the floor. Although there were some variations in color due to the age of the wood, they did their best to match it as close as possible using a bit of stain. It was nearly impossible to replicate the original floor's variability, but they were able to adjust it based on their experience. The only criticism was that they missed a small section of the dog mess, but it was in between the new wood and did not affect the overall quality of the job. I would certainly hire Jose and his crew again.

Jose and his team have done an outstanding job. The floors appear to be as good as new, and they left no mess behind. Among three other companies I compared, their pricing seemed to be the most reasonable. If you're looking for a great job that doesn't break the bank, I strongly suggest hiring them!

Caution to Buyers: Beware!!! Jose from Day & Night Hardwood Floors is a scammer and an extortionist. I needed to sand, stain, and polish 4 rooms and 13 stairs of wood flooring, which measures 635 sq. ft. Jose quoted me a price and we put everything in writing. But, after waiting for three weeks, he called me to raise the price. When I refused, he showed up late on the day of the job with two workers who didn't want to wear masks during the pandemic. They made a mess of my house and roughed up only 2 rooms before demanding more money. When I disagreed, they quit the job and left screws missing from my electrical box. Jose is a con-artist who will try to fleece you, even after agreeing to a job in writing. Stay away from Day & Night Hardwood Floors if you don't want to be involved with these extortionists.

Jose is absolutely amazing! He transformed my disheveled floors into brand new ones in no time. He completed the task on time and with utmost professionalism. He even left my house tidier than it was before he got there. My recommendation for him is through the roof!
