My project was assigned to a contractor who evaluated the scope of the job by visiting my home. However, instead of providing a quote or estimate, he asked for my budget. I was reluctant to give a budgetary number, as I needed an estimate based on my requirements. Eventually, I provided a range of "$4,000-to-$6,000". But the contractor grossly misunderstood or did not hear properly and quoted "$40,000" for a 12'x15' screened-in patio. Perhaps he thought I had said "$46,000". He showed me some pictures of his work and suggested another option. I asked him to send me the pictures and provide a quote as soon as possible. It's been five days, and despite repeated requests, there has been no response.

Their work was fantastic! I've been using my basement like never before after they gave it a complete overhaul resulting in a truly extraordinary space.
