About
Building a strong foundation through teaching the fundamentals of volleyball is essential for improvement. Instead of focusing solely on one or two specific skills, it is important to develop a well-rounded game to maximize opportunities. As a coach, I prioritize teaching all the necessary skills for success at the National Team level.My coaching method includes personalized technique training, explanations of the reasoning behind each skill, review via video analysis, flexible scheduling, and personal communication to foster accountability. My experience as a National Team player and coach provides credibility and expertise.
With over 14 years of volleyball experience, I won a State Championship in Junior College, excelled in the NCAA as a top middle blocker, and played professionally in 10 countries. I also trained with the USA National Volleyball indoor team for 5 years, and spent 2 years as a member of the USA Junior National beach team, earning a AAA rating in CBVA. My recent accomplishments include winning an AVP Next beach volleyball competition and taking 2nd place in the Norceca, proudly representing USA Beach Volleyball.
My career highlights include being recognized as a top NCAA athlete, professional volleyball player, member of the USA Beach Junior National Team, USA National Team indoor player, AVP Next winner, and AVP Main Draw participant.

Kris is an exceptional individual! He has been instrumental in enhancing my daughter's sports abilities and work ethic. Being a parent of four, I highly value his promptness and efficient communication. Although my daughter is usually hesitant to connect with teachers and coaches, Kris was able to establish a rapport with her from day one. Along with his indisputable volleyball expertise, his encouraging and tranquil attitude has created an optimal learning environment. As a result, my daughter has made significant progress in her abilities and drive. It is important to note that being an outstanding player does not automatically translate into being an outstanding teacher. Kris, however, is an outstanding teacher and player.
