Gilbert gave my 9-year-old son his inaugural drum lesson, as he had previously taken roughly 20 sessions with his school's music instructor. Gilbert exemplified kindness, patience, and enthusiasm, but most importantly, my son connected well with him and felt driven to continue practicing. My son has since been banging out rhythms on every available flat surface and eagerly anticipates his upcoming lesson with Gilbert.
