In 2011, I established a rental property business and neglected to file tax returns on my income since its inception. In June 2017, my disregard for tax obligations caught up with me when an IRS agent arrived with a one-month notice demanding over $30,000 in back taxes. Legacy also negotiated with the IRS on my behalf and were able to reduce the amount of outstanding taxes to 50 percent of the initial tax estimate. Subsequently, I was put on a payment plan that will be completed next month. Legacy did an excellent job handling my tax responsibilities, and I also utilized their services to file taxes for the current year. I found them to be dependable, and I am relieved to have resolved my overdue tax bill.
