At Elephancy Co., boutique event planner Alex De Souza specializes in creating unique events. Holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality, Alex is a certified planner via the Bridal Society. While studying at FIU, Alex honed her skills through her work for exclusive planner Chris Weinberg, and her leadership of SOBEWFF events. After working in property management with her husband Kenny, they founded 9.10 Homes, which Alex has worked on as a project manager and interior designer, overseeing full home renovations. Teaming up with her sister-in-law, Alex now manages her own event company, where she utilizes her hospitality and home design experience to create unparalleled events. Alex prioritizes her clients' visions, developing a project scope and budget to match. She expertly marshals creative teams, managing each event through to successful post-event evaluation and client satisfaction. Alex's own set of event management tools keeps her team organized, and she ensures that each event reflects her clients' personality, lifestyle and desires. By interpreting her clients' wishes, Alex forges personal bonds with them, creating fun, interactive, and unforgettable experiences for all who attend.
