Sallie's Spanish School

Greetings! My name is Sally D'Armas, and I am a Californian native who possesses over 18 years of experience teaching Spanish to students of all ages and levels. My passion for educating and aiding others began at a young age and continuously rewards me. Pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Education with a minor in Spanish allowed me to utilize my Cuban and Spanish heritage, further expanding my love for the language and culture. I even wrote a book to assist others in learning how to speak and write Spanish. When not teaching, I enjoy attending hockey and dodger's baseball games, and spending quality time with my family.

Sallie offers fun Spanish classes for ages 5 - 17 and adults. Our course covers practical vocabulary, useful phrases, and comprehension of simple Spanish. We also offer one-on-one private lessons to help our students become more fluent in international Spanish within our 6-week course duration.

Our team has had great achievement with students from schools such as Buckley, Harvard-Westlake, Marlborough, Marymount, Crossroads, Notre-Dame, Beverly High, and New Roads over the past 19 years. We accept students of all levels, with personalized curriculums that help achieve their goals as effectively as possible. Our classes cover pronunciation/accent, grammar, conversation, vocabulary, reading, and writing. Learning Spanish allows individuals to possess a valuable tool that can unexpectedly come in handy. Spanish tutoring is also offered to help students maintain and improve their proficiency skills.
