Despite living in a small condo with neighbors on either side, I was determined to solve my rodent problem. The solution presented to me was an extensive injection of a substance to block entry to my property and the use of sticky traps. However, the quote for the job was a staggering $1700.00, far beyond my budget. The agent informed me that I would be charged a $100 trip fee, and for an additional $300, they could do a basic job of blocking entry but the rest would be my responsibility. I paid this fee and in just 30 minutes, the preliminary job was complete. I knew I could not handle the gruesome task of using sticky pads to dispose of the rodents and opted for $100 worth of box trap purchased from Lowe's. My neighbors had paid between $40 and $100 for similar problems, but since I agreed to some work, I was only credited for the trip fee. The effectiveness of the solution remains to be seen, however, the company's representatives were polite, professional, and sympathetic to my needs. Overall, the experience was more expensive than I anticipated.

While the company is not at fault, I made some errors in my dealings with them. I had a rodent infestation near my dishwasher, but failed to include that area in the estimate, resulting in additional charges. Additionally, I paid a flat fee rather than requesting a breakdown of costs for materials and hourly charges. Although three technicians spent five hours on the job, the price seemed steep. Despite these issues, the company did an exceptional job sealing problem areas on the exterior of my home. The photos I've included show the finished product. The technicians were professional, arrived on time, wore appropriate safety gear, and drove company vehicles. I'd recommend the company, but suggest obtaining additional estimates to avoid questioning the cost.

The quoted price was quite reasonable, even lower than prices provided by other companies who had not yet assessed my home. The next morning, the workers arrived on time and conducted themselves with the utmost professionalism, exhibiting courteous and friendly behavior. I am impressed with the service provided by American Rodent Control and would confidently recommend them to others.

The job was completed within a tight timeframe of just a few days, but the hardworking crew took only short breaks in order to do so. If I require further assistance with any household needs, I will employ them again. Unfortunately, this house has experienced an infestation of rodents over the course of its 50-year history. The team was able to remedy the situation by sealing entry points, removing old insulation, sanitizing the area, and installing new insulation. I am thoroughly satisfied with the results of their labor and will gladly recommend them to others experiencing a similar predicament. I only regret not having taken action earlier.
