Upon arriving home, we shut the garage door only to hear the sound of the door spring breaking. Using the Elite garage doors app, we quickly reached out for assistance and Sean swiftly arrived, exhibiting a friendly and professional demeanor. Sean quickly observed that the previously installed springs were not the correct fit for our door, which had been installed by a different company. It was impressive and surprising that they arrived within an hour. They attempted to diagnose the issue swiftly, without conducting thorough tests, for an approximate cost of $275. However, upon my questioning, they discovered that it was not a sensor malfunction but rather a problem with the metal base of the door. I settled the service charge and an additional amount for an "adjustment." Hopefully, the quick fix will tide me over until I can afford to replace the door entirely.
