Rhapsody Harpist

Cherith Riley is a talented harpist who can provide mesmerizing music for your special occasion. With her mastery of both sacred and classical repertoire, she is sure to captivate any audience. Currently a college freshman, Cherith resides in Greenville, SC.

Cherith's musical journey began at the young age of 7, under the tutelage of Emily Waggoner, Director of Harp Studies at Bob Jones University. Throughout her elementary school years, she consistently earned "Superior" ratings in state-level string solo judging and won 1st place two years in a row in her junior high state competitions. In 2010, she earned the honor of showcasing her harp selection at the senior high state level and took 1st place in senior high competition in 2009, 2011, and 2012. She was also a returning participant in the AACS Nationals Competition, representing South Carolina with her beautiful string solos, "Concerto in B flat Major" and "Passaccaille" by Handel.

Aside from performing at her church in Taylors, SC, she loves playing for local events such as sculpture shows, high school festivals, honorary parties, weddings, and receptions. Cherith's music brings a harmonious ambiance to any occasion, showcasing the enchanting beauty and elegance that the harp embodies. Her rates are reasonable, and she hopes to inspire and bless others with her God-given musical talent.
