For 30 years, Edward Black has served as an ordained Officiant within the wedding community. His engaging, approachable, and often comedic style will immediately set you and your guests at ease. Together, you can create a unique and personalized ceremony that honors both of you.

Ed is committed to ensuring that your wedding day is flawless and will work closely with you to plan and coordinate your special day. Generally, ceremonies run between 20-25 minutes, depending on any additional elements, such as special readings or songs. Ed considers it a privilege and an honor to unite couples and will make sure that your wedding day is tailored to your individual personalities. If necessary, he is also open to working with another officiant, such as a family member or member of the clergy.

Often, Pastor Ed is heard jokingly saying, "In 30 years, I have not 'lost' a couple!" He will guide you through a detailed questionnaire and provide options for different elements of the ceremony, gracefully leading you from start to finish on your big day.

Pastor Ed and his lovely wife Karen and daughter Madison Grace reside in Rocklin. He is an active member of the Pointe Church in Antelope and enjoys movies, hiking, traveling, and spending time with those close to him.

Pastor Ed is an exceptional Wedding Officiant who prioritizes investing his time into building a meaningful relationship with you and your future spouse to make sure your wedding day and marriage are both beautiful. He personalizes your ceremony to reflect your preferences and what is important to you both. During our ceremony, Pastor Ed skillfully orchestrated our position facing the guests, allowing them to feel more involved in our special moment. He was open to incorporating our minister friends into the ceremony and including cultural traditions that held significance for our families. Finally, he facilitated a family dedication at the end, which was a touching addition to our ceremony.

Edward Black was absolutely incredible! His genuine and heartfelt ceremony was praised by many of my guests and he was talked about almost as much as we were. We requested a non-religious ceremony and he delivered exactly what we asked for. From start to finish, his communication was positive and he worked diligently and efficiently to ensure that the script was executed as we had envisioned. His script had just the right amount of humor, love, and passion. We had several Zoom calls and he was understanding and happy to work with us each time we chatted. On the rehearsal day, he made us feel confident and dressed professionally for both the rehearsal and wedding day. He blended right in with our formal attire. Edward Black truly is amazing at what he does and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an officiant. 10/10 - Thank you, Edward!

Last weekend, Ed officiated our wedding and did a fantastic job. He incorporated humor into the ceremony just as we wanted and had the crowd laughing. Additionally, our wedding party was large, but Ed graciously managed us all during the rehearsal. I wholeheartedly endorse his services to my loved ones.
