About
Over the past 12 years, I've been teaching individuals of all ages, including kids and adults, the art of playing the violin. I received formal training at the Colburn School of Music in Los Angeles and pursued further studies at the University of California, Berkeley. Currently, I perform in Chicago and Northwestern University while operating out of Andersonville.My violin lessons go beyond technicalities as I also cover music theory and history. Each student has unique needs, which is why I offer personalized lesson plans.
Violin has been a life-long passion, having started playing at age three. I take pride in sharing this passion with students, knowing that I inspire them to develop their own musical voices.

Unfortunately, I did not have the privilege of being taught by Madison for an extended period of time, but during the time that she did instruct me, she displayed great patience and creativity. Under her guidance, I learned how to play the violin proficiently, focusing on correct sound production and technique. I highly recommend Madison to any music enthusiast who desires to learn the violin.

Maddie has been a wonderful teacher and I feel incredibly fortunate to have found her. Over the past few months, she has not only helped me to enhance my form and technique, but has also given me invaluable advice on injury prevention. Additionally, Maddie has been instrumental in resolving specific issues I was experiencing with certain compositions.
