I enlisted Marco Bolanos to carry out some landscaping at my daughter's property located in Glenwood Park. The rationale behind my decision was due to his competitive quote, which was roughly one-third the cost of another landscaper's bid, as well as his impressive knowledge and integrity. Moreover, Marco was able to commence the job as soon as we desired it to be completed. My initial impression of him was accurate, as he is principled, trustworthy, and produces exceptional work, despite charging significantly less than other expert landscapers. Conversely, the other landscaper who provided us with a quotation requested a 50% upfront payment, whereas Marco required payment only once the job was finished and we were satisfied with the results. On the day that Marco indicated he would arrive, he and his team were punctual, worked diligently, and completed the entire job in one and a half days. They tackled a few tasks, including cleaning out an old garden bed that bordered the front of the house and planting new shrubs in it, tidying up a weed-infested backyard, extracting some unwanted shrubs, and dismantling a fishpond surrounded by brickwork that threatened to impede a baby's safety when they played in the yard. Additionally, they transplanted a few viable shrubs to new locations in the backyard, mulched and seeded the entire yard. My daughter was delighted with Marco's work, and a few days later when I visited Atlanta (even though I reside in Athens), I too was impressed, except for one thing that Marco overlooked. We had requested that he move some of the liriope plants from the backyard to the front border garden as there were gaps in the liriope border along the garden. I contacted Marco about this issue, and though he had already been paid, he returned the next day to rectify the oversight. Many landscapers would not have responded as Marco had once they had received payment for their work. Overall, we were satisfied with Marco's work, and my daughter and son-in-law plan to invite him back in the spring to replace the front yard's sod. They intend to refer him to any friends who require landscaping services in the future.

Our front yard received a complete makeover from Marco. He laid 3 pallets of shade-tolerant sod and transformed our builder-grade landscaping with a more sophisticated arrangement of shrubs. Additionally, he showcased his expertise by replanting our older shrubs in other areas. Marco also installed a new mailbox and skillfully landscaped around it. His responsiveness and reliability were impressive, and his top priority was always ensuring our satisfaction. Notably, his rates were lower than other quotes. We will certainly consider hiring him for future projects.
